Hi, I’m Mike Hadge and I’ve been officially diagnosed as “Creative.”

More specifically, I’m a longtime TV, digital, and live experience comedy writer, content creator, producer and songwriter, with a honed ability to match any client's unique voice and personality. While I’ve worked on such TV projects as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Sesame Street, TruTV Presents and FOX Animation’s The Great North, my creative muscles have been developed across the entertainment landscape.

For five years, I wrote hundreds of jokes for David Letterman's monologue and Top Ten List. Via Whalerock Productions, I completely revamped and relaunched Howard Stern's digital universe, including Howard's official website, social media, and daily digital content. I’ve also written specialized content for digital publications BarkPost, Funny or Die, Buzzfeed and The Daily Dot, among others. 

While much of my creative work is screen-based, I’ve become just as accomplished writing for stage and live events. First off, I am the founder of Fordham University's sketch comedy group, Free Pizza, which continues to operate to this day.

As an award-winning Off-Broadway comedy songwriter, I’ve also written hundreds of songs on-demand for artists and productions across the country for nearly a decade, including The Rescignos Variety Show and NEWSical: The Musical Off-Broadway. My work has been featured as part of A Little New Music in Los Angeles and Esther's Follies in Austin, TX. I’ve additionally written music for several podcasts, including Sex and the Cidiots and Bachelor Nick Viall’s Viall Files. My original musical, Musical Dot Com, has been in development on both coasts and my newest musical, DoofyLand, was named Finalist and Top Musical in the Screencraft Stage Play Competition. DoofyLand is also currently the #1 Stage Musical on Coverfly. Subsequently, DoofyLand has received developmental readings in New York and Los Angeles, with its first audience presentation taking place in Hollywood, November 2023, directed by Dog Man: The Musical’s Jen Wineman. A 29-hour reading is currently in the planning stages. In February 2025, DoofyLand received its first NYC presentation at 54 Below in a sold out concert showcase. Highlights from DoofyLand are currently in the airing rotation at WERS’ Standing Room Only, airing every weekend and streaming 24/7. My newest musical, Strong Stoic Straitz: Alpha Podcast For Male Kings (a musical) recently completed a successful, sold-out theater run and is working toward its next phase.

Most recently, I’ve written an entire season of inspirational kids series What’s Your Superpower? for educational non-profit Global Game Changers. Currently, I run my online animation/record shop Toons, Tunes and Trash, as well as its popular Instagram account (1.2 million monthly views.)
